The debtor deals with the same collector throughout the entire collection process. The debtor avoids repeating their position each time a call is placed. This process enables us to build a short term relationship with the debtor and helps streamline the collection timeframe.
Investigation Stage:
A thorough investigation of all documentation is performed.
The debtor's financial status is established.
This stage is typically completed on the same day of receiving the file.
Collection Stage:
Determine who is in charge of approving the payment.
Confirm the debtor's position and state the client's position.
Send the debtor any supporting documentation to strengthen the claim.
Follow-up calls are performed on a daily basis.
Follow-up letters are mailed every 5 business days.
All progress is reported to our client.
Resolution Stage:
All payment offers are confirmed by letter with the debtor's signature.
Accounts to be paid in full are required to pay within 5 business days of acceptance.
Debtor's that have agreed to pay in full, but require more time are given the option of a payment plan upon our client's acceptance.
Settlement offers must be approved by our client.
Demand Stage:
If no resolution has been met, we discuss alternative solutions with our client.
A final demand letter is sent to the debtor stating our client's final position.
If there is no response to our final letter, we consult with our client and wait for approval before sending to an attorney.
All letters and phone calls with debtor are in accordance with
The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
Your image and trust are important to us. We understand that collections are sensitive, that is why we will tailor our process to your specific needs.
